ရခိုင်တောင်လိပ် (Heosemys depressa)^[၁] စွာ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ အနောက်ဘက်ဟိ ရခိုင်တောင်တန်းတိနန့် ဘင်္ဂလားဒေ့ရှ် နိုင်ငံနန့် နယ်နိမိတ်ချင်းထိစပ်နီရေ စစ်တကောင်းတောင်တန်းဒေသတိ၏ ဒေသရင်းလိပ်မျိုးစိတ်ဖြစ်ပြီးကေ မျိုးသုဉ်းလုနီးပါးမာ အန္တရာယ်ဟိနီရေ လိပ်မျိုးစိတ်လည်းဖြစ်တေ။^[၃] ရခိုင်တောင်လိပ်စွာ ရီထဲမာရာမက ကုန်းထက်မာပါ ရှင်သန်နိုင်ကေလေ့ အရွယ်ရောက်လာရေ လိပ်ကြီးတိစွာ ကုန်းထက်မာ နီထိုင်ခြင်းကို ခြီကတ်ရေ။

မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ အနောက်ဘက်ခြမ်းမာ ဖမ်းမိရေ ရခိုင်တောင်လိပ်တိကို တရုတ်နိုင်ငံဟိ တောရိုင်းတိရိစ္ဆာန် ကုန်သည်တိက ရောင်းဝယ်ဖောက်ကားလျက်ဟိရေ။ ၂၀၀၃ ခုနှစ်မာ သုတေသီတိစွာ ချက်သမ္မတနိုင်ငံသို့ တင်သွင်းလာခရေ ရခိုင်တောင်လိပ်ကိုးကောင်အား သုတေသနအတွက် ဥပမာတိကို ကောက်ယူကာ သီးသန့်စုဆောင်းထားရေ။^[၄]
